A Frank Campaign.
Ask any Arsenal fan about Arsenal Football Club and at some point you’ll hear about “The Arsenal Way”. Its one of the reasons I support this club.
Hard to define, its a nebulous concept related to doing the “right thing”, a nod to tradition, a very English concept of “proper behaviour”.
When Peter Hill Wood described American Stan Kronkie as “not our sort”, it immediately invoked to my mind at least, notions that a takeover by him would not seek to protect the Arsenal Way.
That’s why i was astonished to read that the Double winning captain of our 1971 team Frank McLintock is a season ticket holder in a recent interview he conducted at:

Basically, we make an Arsenal hero pay for his seat.
Thats surely not The Arsenal Way? It smacks of a lack of appreciation for what Frank has acheived, of a grubby money hungry attitude that would fit better over at Stamford Bridge or The Eastlands Stadium.
Its not behaviour becoming of Arsenal Football Club.
If we as Arsenal fans don’t protect the Arsenal Way then it will die, so what I propose is that fellow Gunners let their voices heard on these pages. I’ll then forward the link to the Arsenal press office for their comments and the national press.
Hopefully by standing up for an Arsenal legend, we’ll get him a seat at the Emirates.
